Church Planting in Canada Moving Forward

Inuit people talking outsite

Indigenous Ministries has been seeking the Lord’s wisdom on where to begin sending church planting teams to in Canada’s north. The needs are huge and the challenges of seeing a thriving indigenous church develop in many of these remote areas are great.

After hearing from those who are living in some of these remote communities (a handful of believers but also many who remain in darkness) a heavy weight has been put on our hearts. The more we hear the more we realize that God has been preparing the fields and that they are ripe for harvest. There are open doors now that were not open just a short time ago. This harvest is plentiful but the fact remains that the labourers are few.

Although we are often overwhelmed by the needs in Canada, we know that the God we serve is not overwhelmed. We praise Him for all He is doing to move this ministry forward and we continue to pray that God would raise up labourers who would join us in the task of reaching Canada’s indigenous people.
