    Neil & Leta Stirling

Neil and Leta are both eager to engage through Bible teaching the excitement of reaching “every kindred, and tongue, and people and nation”. If we can encourage and challenge your people with the privilege of “going into all the world with the gospel” we would be delighted to do that.

Possible delay in receiving your gift
It can take up to 10 days for Ethnos Canada to receive gifts given through the website, as there is a 'pending' period for credit cards. Only after your gift is received at our bank do we credit donations to the designated ministry. It is possible that an online donation made near the end of the month will not be credited to the designated ministry until the following month.

Itinerant ministry in the Maritime provinces and Ontario
Neil and Leta both started their professional lives in public education. Neil was a specialist in the area of guidance counseling. Neil also taught English for 24 years, and Bible for 16 years. Leta is a learning therapist for children having learning disabilities. Neil and Leta arrived at Fanda, Senegal, West Africa in 1979. They taught at the Fanda Missionary School until 1998. After two major evacuations, they were forced to return to Canada as a result of a civil war in Southern Senegal. Fanda Missionary School was closed permanently in 1998. Shortly after their return they started their ministry as conference and church speakers in the four Atlantic provinces. Their daughter, Miriam, is a missionary nurse in Benin, West Africa. Miriam specializes in working with HIV/AIDS patients at the Bembereke hospital. Their son Peter is a research associate at the University of Waterloo in Ontario. He completed his masters in Environmental Studies in 2012. Peter has worked with World Vision and U.S. Aid as a consultant in Senegal, West Africa. Neil and Leta are both eager to engage through Bible teaching the excitement of reaching "every kindred, and tongue, and people and nation". If we can encourage and challenge your people with the privilege of "going into all the world with the gospel" we would be delighted to do that. May the Lord bless your outreach to those who have never once heard the gospel of Jesus Christ. Having served with Ethnos Canada many years we are now in the retirement phase of life. We still continue to serve the body of Christ by sharing in speaking engagements when opportunity arises. We can still receive support through Ethnos Canada which comes to us as retirement income.
