Possible delay in receiving your gift
It can take up to 10 days for Ethnos Canada to receive gifts given through the website, as there is a 'pending' period for credit cards. Only after your gift is received at our bank do we credit donations to the designated ministry. It is possible that an online donation made near the end of the month will not be credited to the designated ministry until the following month.

Raised as missionary kids in Indonesia and Panama, Shane and Karen were both blessed with a Christian upbringing and early exposure to the reality of the unreached. After getting degrees in elementary education, they spent their first four years overseas teaching at an MK school. After returning to Canada in 2002, they completed the training and then spent an additional 3 years serving at the training centre. During their second 4-year term in Asia Pacific, Shane and Karen oriented new families arriving on the field and guided them through national culture/language acquisition. Now serving again at the training centre in Ontario, they are grateful for the opportunity to use the talents and experience God has given them in training others who will bring Light to places of great darkness. Shane is a classroom instructor and also carries some administrative responsibilities while Karen’s main role is administration for the training program. Shane continues to receive treatment for Fabry Disease which prevented their return to Asia Pacific. "May God receive the glory for anything accomplished through our lives."
