One Kodiak in Place, Two More Need Your Prayers

The Kodiak Has Landed

“The Kodiak has landed!” wrote Phil Koop, Executive Director of NTM Aviation. “Thank you for your prayers — even when the reality of the Kodiak seemed unattainable. … For your interest — even when the project stretched over years.  … [fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”][And] for your trust in God who never fails to do the utmost to bring His Word to people in the most remote locations on earth.”

The Excitement Continues

Excitement filled the air as missionaries praised God for the arrival of this first Kodiak aircraft in Papua New Guinea. Besides the economic benefits that come from carrying a greater payload and flying greater distances between refueling, the Kodiak’s ability to make medevac flights over the open ocean to Australia brings much peace of mind.

“THE KODIAK HAS LANDED! THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS — EVEN WHEN THE REALITY OF THE KODIAK SEEMED UNATTAINABLE.”

And the excitement doesn’t end there. Two more Kodiaks are slated for Papua New Guinea. Even now, NTM Aviation technicians are outfitting these planes with customized modifications such as HF radios and satellite tracking systems needed for flying missionaries and supplies into remote villages. They will also install specialized power systems to provide life support during medevacs.

Praise and Prayer

Amid praises for this first Kodiak, missionaries are anticipating the arrival of the second Kodiak as early as this fall, and the third Kodiak in the spring of 2016.

There’s much that needs to fall into place for that to happen, and your prayer can make a difference. Please pray for the work on the planes themselves, for finances, and for the extensive paperwork involved in exporting, importing, and registering the Kodiaks.
