The chronological difference

Missionary Greg Greenlaw is excited about a recent teaching opportunity.

It was chronological Bible teaching going in a slightly different direction. Because, this time, missionary Greg Greenlaw was teaching Firm Foundations Bible lessons to pastors.

Recently, a large, like-minded evangelical organization that is solid in Biblical truth and has a tremendous heart for reaching the lost contacted Greg. Recognizing the benefits of laying a firm foundation for presenting the Gospel, this organization asked him and a co-worker to help provide training for their pastors in teaching the Bible chronologically.

Greg says it was a great opportunity to share tools with a like-minded organization. “The pastors were very open to our teaching and seem genuinely excited about putting the chronological teaching to use. … We’ve had some really great fellowship with them and there is much mutual respect,” Greg shares.

This was the first of two conferences aimed at training this organization’s pastors to teach systematically through the Bible, giving meaning and background to spiritual truth.

“It’s very neat to see the Lord opening these doors. … Please be praying with us that God would use these opportunities for His glory here in Papua New Guinea,” Greg writes.

Thank God for these new opportunities He has provided for Greg Greenlaw and his co-worker. Ask God to bless the teaching of His Word as it is shared with pastors. Pray that He will empower these pastors to share, by His grace, careful chronological Bible teaching with their flocks.
